Heading an organization with the finesse of a maestro, Jayamurali brings precision, planning, and perfection to the table. With him at the helm, IKONS is all set for a year of high-energy action, charted like a corporate strategy but spiced with Rotary spirit. Buckle up—it’s going to be a thrilling roller coaster ride (seatbelts optional, but recommended)!

Immediate Past President – Rtn. N. Karthikeyan If Rotary ran in veins, Karthikeyan would test positive—for service! A man of unwavering passion and commitment, he believes in doing every bit—big or small—for the greater good. Despite a challenging year, he turned obstacles into stepping stones and proudly launched his dream project: our very own Kidney Dialysis Centre, a landmark initiative in collaboration with the Corporation. Hats off to our torchbearer of service, who truly walked the talk—sometimes uphill, but always forward!

President Elect and Community Services – Non medical – Rtn. Dr. Sunder Raj From stethoscope to strategy, Dr. Sunder Raj has transitioned seamlessly from a caring doctor to a dynamic businessman. But don’t worry—his heart is still in the right place! With philanthropy in one hand and compassion in the other, he’s been rewriting the story of his entire village. As he gears up to step into leadership, we’re in for a meaningful and inspiring two-year journey—prescribed and powered by purpose!

Secretary – Rtn. K. Ra. Sudha From boardrooms to breathwork, from policies to pranayama—Sudha is the only one who can conduct a performance review and a Sirsasana in the same breath! A seasoned HR professional turned Holistic Transformation Expert, she brings structure with soul and discipline with a deep breath.She’s here to align not just our club goals, but maybe even our chakras too! Expect emails or whatapps with deadlines—and maybe a reminder to stretch or breathe through the stress.On a more grounded note, Sudha has already planned a launch of one of the district’s top priorities—Drug Abuse Awareness—with the first campaign kicking off this August at the school run by our very own Rtn. Dr. Sunder and Rtn. Devi.Let’s welcome the energetic, process-loving, yoga-whispering force behind our compliance and calm—Rtn. K. Ra. Sudha!

Joint Secretary – Rtn. Kalpana Devi Behind every strong man is a stronger woman—and in Dr. Sunder’s case, it’s Kalpana Devi, his constant support and quiet strength. As she steps in as Joint Secretary this year (and gears up to take the baton as Secretary next year), we welcome a leader who blends humility with hands-on action.She doesn’t just talk about Swachh Bharat—she lives it! Our very own Swachh Sengutupalayam Project has been her morning ritual—while we sip coffee, she’s already out there ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Compassionate, committed, and always composed—Kalpana Devi is the kind of Rotarian who lets her work speak volumes. Hats off to her unspoken service!

Treasurer – Rtn. K. R. Krishnaswamy From a young man with dreams in his eyes to a city-renowned philanthropist, Krishnaswamy’s journey is as inspiring as it is heartwarming—especially the part where he married his first love from across the street! Though he no longer crunches numbers as a practicing CA, his financial wisdom is still razor-sharp.Known for his big heart and even bigger sense of balance, he's often the voice of reason during heated IKONS discussions—a true devil’s advocate (but always with angelic intentions!). As our Treasurer, we trust his steady hands and keen mind to keep our finances not just in order, but in perfect harmony. IKONS is truly richer—with him around!

Club Services – Rtn. Venkataramana When the road ahead looks foggy, there’s one-man IKONS can count on to quietly step forward—and that’s Rtn. Venkataramana. A true HR veteran with a legacy in the corporate world, he may have retired on paper, but in spirit (and in service), he’s still going strong—balancing boards and guiding teams across Coimbatore.He’s our resident calm-in-the-storm, always composed and ever insightful. But beware—you’ll need to quiet down completely to hear him speak! His soft-spoken voice has magical powers: it brings instant silence to the room, followed by pearls of wisdom. Taking up the Club Services role—a position many politely tiptoed around—he’s shown once again that real leaders don’t need volume, just value.

International Service – Rtn. Saba Singaram A globe-trotter with a golden heart, Saba Singaram is the perfect mix of charm, wit, and wisdom. A devoted lover of Kannadasan’s poetry and a natural orator, he can hold an audience with humor, emotion, and expression—all at once. If you’ve ever heard him speak, you know you’re in for a treat.Ever helpful and deeply social, he’s the kind of person who makes friends across borders, cultures, and languages—which makes him a spot-on fit for International Service. With Saba representing IKONS globally, we’re sure to build bridges with both heart and harmony.

Community Service – Medical – Rtn. Dr. Renukadevi A doctor by profession and a bundle of joy by personality, Dr. Renukadevi brings cheer, commitment, and contagious energy to everything she does! Whether it’s a major project or a spontaneous event, she’s always there—smiling, supporting, and showing up with full heart.A true IKON behind the scenes, she’s the quiet strength and cheerful spirit that lifts every initiative. With her leading our Community Service (Non-Medical), we’re sure our projects will be not only successful but filled with soul, smiles, and service.

Membership Chair – Rtn. Ramkutty Ramakrishnan Who better to take on Membership than the Rajinikanth of IKONS, calls himself “Kabali”. Charismatic, vibrant, and loved by all, Rtn. Ramkutty brings superstar energy to every Rotary gathering! A true social elite with 100% heart, he came to Coimbatore, built his empire from the ground up, and still gives back without limits.Whether it’s welcoming new members or re-energizing the old guard, he’s the man with the charm, the network, and the style. With him leading Membership, get ready for IKONS to be the hottest club in town—and yes, entry might soon need a red carpet!

TRF & Public Relations Chair – Rtn. Mervyn Jussy When in doubt—ask Mervyn! From protocols to programs, bylaws to backdrops, he’s our go-to Rotary encyclopedia. He not only knows Rotary inside out—he lives and breathes it with precision and passion.The creative brain behind all our beautiful invites and well-crafted agendas, Mervyn now officially becomes the voice of IKONS. With him in this dual role, expect a year of front-page-worthy PR, dazzling invites, and Rotary representation that’s sharp, stylish, and always spot on!

Legal Chair – Rtn. N.V. Sreejaya A practicing lawyer with a heart as strong as her case files, Rtn. Sreejaya believes justice doesn’t always need a courtroom. With her calm counsel and conflict-resolution skills, she’s helped countless clients avoid lengthy legal battles—and even longer bills! Compassionate, wise, and always fair, she’s been a quiet yet steady guide for IKONS behind the scenes.She’s also one-half of the lovely Sreejaya-Mervyn duo—IKONS’ own example of “opposites attract”! We’re still scratching our heads on how their college romance bloomed! (Love is certainly blind) but we’re all glad it did. With her in our legal corner, IKONS can now breathe a little easier… and maybe think twice before signing anything without reading the fine print!

Sergeant-at-Arms – Rtn. Illango A poet, a published author, and a builder of both homes and thoughts—Rtn. Illango is our resident wordsmith who delivers his “Karathu” (musings) at every meeting with flair and feeling. But don’t let the gentle words fool you—this year, he’s also our Sergeant-at-Arms!So, dear IKONS, beware: if the crowd gets too loud or too wild, the poet may turn enforcer. And knowing him, he’ll do it with a verse so sharp, you won’t even realize you’ve been silenced! We’re thrilled (and a little nervous) to have him keep order—with charm, creativity, and maybe just a dash of poetic justice.

Chairman – Fundraising – Rtn. Hari Padmanaban As the Tamil saying goes, “Thoonilum iruppaan, thurumbilum iruppaan”—you’ll find our social Hari everywhere! A man with a magnetic network and unmatched presence, he knows exactly who’s who, what’s what, and more importantly, how to get things done in Coimbatore.A sharp businessman with golden contacts and silver-tongued charm, Hari is the obvious—and perfect—choice to lead our fundraising this year. With him at the helm, we won’t just raise funds… we’ll raise the bar!

Chairpersons – Family Events – Rtn. Sangita Mehta. This year, family events are in very good hands—because they’re in two of them!First up, Rtn. Sangita Mehta—a pathologist by profession who not only understands the DNA of diseases but also seems to know the genetic makeup of every IKONS member and their extended families! A fun-loving, ever-smiling force of positivity, she’s the perfect prescription for family fun and togetherness.

Rtn P T Murthy - Vocational Service Director. Fondly called as Tree Murthy, our dedicated Tree Planting Champion who has been instrumental in bringing our community together to green our neighborhood. With a passion for the environment and a talent for organizing, Murthy has led multiple successful planting events, inspiring members to take part in nurturing our urban forest. His hands-on experience and commitment make him a true advocate for a healthier planet.

Youth Services – Rtn. Subbramanyam N.VWhen it comes to shaping young minds and guiding futures, look no further than Rtn. Subbramanyam! As the head of a successful overseas student admissions center, he’s a walking, talking knowledge bank on careers, courses, and global opportunities.He doesn’t just work with youth—he builds their futures. Focused, insightful, and deeply committed to students’ success, he’s the ideal choice to lead Youth Services this year.With him in charge, IKONS will not only empower the next generation—but inspire them to dream bigger and fly higher!
